Pre populated Dates in Clinical Charting
Does anyone know if there is a way to not have the system pre-populate the dates "from" and "to" dates in the Clinical Charting module? Staff have been addressed some concerns and so I wanted to reach out to see if there was anyone else who has any ideas to get around this.
Thanks

Thank you for your feedback regarding the new date filters. We have listened to your concerns regarding communication and have since made an update on our Live Updates Page.

How does the administrator change a password for your professional staff

Hi Michael,
A champion will have the permission to access a staff profile, and change a password.
Simply open the staff profile, clear out the password section, enter a new temporary password and change the toggle for “change password on next log in” to yes.
Save the staff profile and give the staff the temporary password. Next time they log in they will then be prompted to change their password.
Thank you,

Optum - Adoption of CASII Clinical Criteria - Effective January 31, 2020
Hello - Does anyone know where Optum would like for us to submit the data on the information that we collect on the CASII's? This is effective today, January 31st. according to the September 2019 Newsletter and it applies to most commercial and Medicaid programs. Optum Provider relations do not have any information. I have a message into my Optum Network Manager. Does anyone else know anything?
Please Advise
Thank you
Paula

Can a fully licensed and credentialed provider have a Billing Supervisor?
We have a fully licensed LMFT who is credentialed with Medica...but has a client that has a Medica Medicare-provider-only plan. I want to bill with a Medicare provider as Billing Supervisor on these claims.
The claims dept rep suggested this to us as a work-around but wanted to more research to make sure this is ok.

System and Faxing Issues?
We have been having some issues with Procentive today. I'm not sure if it is our wonderful internet connect or if Procentive is having problems. We have been getting crazy errors when faxing things and our system is freezing up on us. Anyone else having problems? I tried to do a chat, but it just sits there. No response.

Is anyone having problems with the appointment module when sorting by location?
We can bring up a single provider, but when we try to do all providers at a location we get nothing but a white screen. Everything worked just fine yesterday.

Medicare Claim Rejections
FYI, I recently had some NGS/Medicare claims reject in the Electronic Module. In case anyone else has run into this, it's because as of 1/1/2020 NGS/Medicare will reject any claim using the old member ID #'s (social security #).
Thanks, Sara

The purpose of this bulletin is to notify you of a number vulnerabilities identified in Microsoft Windows operating systems which if not addressed, pose significant threat to the environment. On January 14, 2020, Microsoft released a software patch to mitigate these vulnerabilities in supported Windows operating systems. Subsequently, The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) released an Emergency Directive and Activity Alert addressing critical vulnerabilities affecting Windows CryptoAPI and Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) server and client. Some of the vulnerabilities could enable a remote attacker to decrypt, modify, or inject data on user connections DHS has determined that these vulnerabilities pose an unacceptable risk to the Federal enterprise and as a result has issued an emergency directives to all Federal agencies to patch their environment immediately. Due to the seriousness of these vulnerabilities, ASPR CIP strongly recommends that all HPH entities also consider patching their environment as soon as possible. This recommendation is based on the likelihood of the vulnerabilities being weaponized, combined with the widespread use of the affected software across the sector and high potential for a compromise of integrity and confidentiality of information.

Problems with Appointments Module
We have been having problems for 3 days with the appointment module. When you schedule an appointment it does not show up. You have to go out of Procentive and come back in for it to refresh. Anyone else having this issue?
