For those of you who are billing Telemedicine...what POS do you use when sending in claims?
Modifiers for billing 2 codes in one day?
Does anyone have experience with adding modifiers, such as 59, 77 or 78 when you need to bill two codes, such as 90837 and 90847? Is it possible to bill more than 2 codes on the same day and be reimbursed?
Codes for SFT?
Does anyone have a county contract for SFT? How are you billing and what codes are you using? I have a couple examples, but would like to compare... Thanks so much!
Place of Service - 53
Is anyone using Place of Service 53 (Community Mental Health Center) when billing? If so, what are you doing with the upcoming changes Blue Cross Blue Shield is making to this Place of Service? Or has anyone heard if other payers will be making this change also?
DA date of service
What do you use as the service date to bill a DA? MHCP provider manual says to use the date the DA is completed/signed by the provider as opposed to the date the provider sees the client face to face.
How do you bill an add on code with an authorization?
Example: a client has Medical Assistance and exceeds the allowed number of units of therapy in a calendar year. A KePro auth is obtained for the add on psychotherapy code, but when billed is sent on same claim with the primary code that does not require authorization. How do other providers handle this?

Hello,
Has anyone started to use the code 90899 (Clinical Care Consultation)? I looked on the updated MHCP fee schedule and there is no rate. When I called Customer Service I was unable to get an answer as well. I hoping someone on here has started billing this code and could share what the rate of reimbursement was. Thanks!
Chemical Health Billing
When sending claims for Chemical Health Services to MN DHS for a Temp ADC (not an LADC yet), are we required to add a modifier for to show she is under Supervision? Such as and HN Modifier?
