

initial eval MH and med management
Hi,
I have BCBS claims that are denying for the med management initial eval due to the client has been seen for MH already at our clinic. While it makes some sense that it is a different type of eval, the claims still deny. Our taxonomy code is single specialty. My question is, even if we send the claims with a different taxonomy code for that one provider, will it still deny since our clinic taxonomy is single specialty? The provider wants us to change our taxonomy to multi specialty but we are unwilling to do that much work. Has anyone had success getting paid for 2 types of evals?

Text Message Cancellations
When clients are cancelling their appointments through their text message reminders it isn't updating the Status of the appointment. Instead it says that they confirmed the appointment.

Room & Board code
Does anyone in the community currently use another room & board code beside 1002? We are looking to bill room & board without the residential treatment for our teen clients. Do you know if this would be 1003 or something else? If it's 1003, do you know if you can bill outpatient services at the same time?

Assessments for Medicare clients
Does anyone know if you can do an assessment for a Medicare client and bill for it even if you are not a Medicare contracted provider? We are looking to just do the assessment and then refer to a Medicare contracted facility.

Issues with Procentive
Good morning all. Is anyone else having issues with Procentive this morning? We have entered a client in three times and that person is not showing in our system. I tried to open a ticket, but that doesn't seem to be working either.
