I am looking for some advice in coding an individual therapy session that lasted for 2 hours. I believe the 90837 is for 60-90 minute sessions, correct? I appreciate any assistance you can provide!

You would use the add on code of 99354
99354 Prolonged service code for Psychotherapy service (use in addition to 90837)
1 unit = additional 30-74 minutes.
90837 60 minutes
99354 for the additional minutes.
They need to be billed together on the same claim .
