Electronic Rejections for Unbalanced COB- when the COB is balanced
Suddenly most of my Secondary clams are rejected for Unbalanced COB. But the COBS are balanced. I heard through one clinic this is a known issue-but can't find anything about it here. Please post this as a known issue so we can be udpated. This is quite a big issue that we can't bill to secondary insurances anymore. Thank you!

We are having this same issue and everything is balanced. When we contacted Procentive - they told us the same thing that it is a known issue and we will be informed on a global basis when fixed. That was over a month ago already and still nothing updated about it. This is affecting a big majority of our claims and affecting cash flow. I'm also worried now about timely filing. To my knowledge there hasn't been anything communicated out globally about any of this either.
Another issue is that when the secondary claims do not reject, the primary COB doesn't travel on the claim so the secondary denies for "missing primary COB". This happened a lot for me in Feb. Then it switched to just straight rejecting.
I have been adding the amount paid to the SVD segment on the extra info on the claim level. They have not been rejected as yet..
I was told we were supposed to add the MN Tax amount there. hmmm..Also, most of the time primary isn't paying anything. The client owes on their deductible.
