KNOWN ISSUE: Claims sent to MN MA (DHS) have a status of "No Response"

Ashley M 7 years ago in Known Issues updated 7 years ago 3

All claims being sent to MN MA (DHS) are coming back unacknowledged with a status of "No Response" in the Electronic Module. We are working to get in touch with DHS for more information and to find a resolution.

Please watch this post for updates. Thank you!

Per DHS this is now resolved with the exception of 270 Eligibility Requests for some providers.

For claims that have a status of "No Response" in the Electronic Module, please open the batch report:

  • If there is a file listed here the claim has been received by DHS.
    • Example: 999 file A6813856700_999_837P_20170101_A6813856700_837P_20170101_4239846.dat (no errors)
    • Any files that contain errors will need to be addressed as normal.
  • If there is not a file listed here, please resubmit the claim.

For 270 Eligibility Request: If you do not receive a 271 response, resubmit the 270 transaction.

Thank you!

This is an issue DHS has been working on and they are sending out the missing 999 flies as they become available

For all batches sent to DHS this week that with a status of "No Response" in the Electronic Module, please open the batch report:

  • If there is a file listed here you do not need to re-send the claims.

    • Example: 999 file A6813856700_999_837P_20170101_A6813856700_837P_20170101_4239846.dat (no errors)
    • Any files that contain errors will need to be addressed as normal.
  • If there is not a file listed here, check back later this week.

For any batches that still have no file listed on the batch report as of Monday, August 14 please submit a ticket to the Support Desk.

A post was made today, August 14, to the DHS Provider News page that this issue is still ongoing.

We are experiencing some technical issues. We are working to resolve them as soon as possible. The issues include:
Batch submissions: Some providers may not receive an acknowledgement (999) when submitting batch Eligibility (270), Request Claim Status (276) and Claims (837) transactions.
If you do not receive a 999, do the following:
      • For 837 Claims: Do not resubmit the transaction. We will identify all submissions that do not receive a 999
and send one at that time.
      • For 270 Eligibility Request: If you do not receive a 271 response, resubmit the 270 transaction.

For claims that have a status of "No Response" in the Electronic Module, please open the batch report:

  • If there is a file listed here the claim has been received by DHS.
    • Example: 999 file A6813856700_999_837P_20170101_A6813856700_837P_20170101_4239846.dat (no errors)
    • Any files that contain errors will need to be addressed as normal.
  • If there is not a file listed here, please continue to check throughout the week.

For any batches that still have no file listed on the batch report after DHS has resolved the issue, please submit a ticket to the Support Desk.
